Hi, I’m Raeanna Duncan (Miss Rae)!

I’m a board-certified music therapist serving children and families across Douglas and Johnson County, Kansas. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from Drury University and have been credentialed since 2019.

I own and operate Small Strides Music Co, where I provide both music therapy and music enrichment services. I work primarily with young children and school-age kids, using music to support communication, attention, emotional regulation, social skills, and confidence. Sessions are individualized, playful, and designed to meet each child exactly where they are.

I have extensive experience working with children with autism, global developmental delays, and a variety of learning differences. My approach is strengths-based and focuses on helping each child take small, meaningful steps toward their individual goals through engaging and supportive musical experiences.

I grew up in Baldwin City and feel grateful to serve my hometown and surrounding communities. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, my golden retriever Maverick, being outdoors, reading, and cheering on the Royals and Jayhawks.
